Atlas Copco launched G200-250 (VSD) Oil-injected rotary screw air compressor

Wuxi, China: Atlas Copco launched efficient and reliable G200-250 (VSD) oil-injected rotary screw air compressor which is designed with integrated G VSD. Its inverter and motor are specially designed and equipped with bearing protection, allowing for maximum efficiency within variable speed range. In addition, the low speed motor is specially designed to meet the requirements of motor and compressor cooling.
Atlas Copco’s G200-250 (VSD) oil-injected rotary screw air compressor takes up 38% less space than other similar compressors available on the market and achieves more savings in installation space, allowing more machines to be installed in a limited space.
State-of-the-art screw element and efficient oil-gas separator contribute to reduction in energy consumption and operation cost for customers. The high efficient GB2/IE3 motor is configured into fixed speed mode. With proprietary asymmetric rotor profile and special bearings, G200-250 (VSD) has distinctive patented rotors to ensure its high performance, resulting in an increase in energy efficiency by 10% and flow rate by 8% compared to current version. Thanks to its optimized design, the oil-gas separator helps to reduce pressure drop and outlet oil content, leading to reduction in maintenance cost and better stability.
G200-250 (VSD) is equipped with an efficient cooler to control the head exhaust temperature within a reasonable range, thus resulting in less downtime losses due to high temperatures. In addition, the water cooler core made of stainless steel enhances the corrosion resistance.
Moreover, the built-in SMARTLINK monitoring program can maximize the uptime, while the clear and detailed color display allows users to quickly acquire important settings and data. Furthermore, the compressor is equipped with Atlas Copco’s advanced Elektronikon? monitoring system for tracing equipment operation and maintenance.
